Aims and Scope

The journal publishes original research articles in applied mathematics. Emphasis is placed on high quality, original works. However, in special cases, survey papers are solicited and accepted for publication. Priorities are giving to articles that are related to the activities and interests of the applied mathematics community of Eötvös Loránd University.

The areas of main interest are:

• classical numerical analysis  
• modern theories of algorithms of approximation, their optimization both in deterministic and stochastic cases
• summation of series
• modelling and simulation
• mathematical system theory
• estimations of computational complexity
• theory of automata
• languages and system programming
• computer algebra
• computational number theory
