On the \(n\)-th element of a set of positive integers

Abstract. Given a set \(A\) of positive integers and its counting function \(A(x):=\#\{n\le x: n\in A\}\), we examine the size of the \(n\)-th element of \(A\) using the size of \(A(x)\).
